Do you think the Jersey Shore cast deserves to win an Academy Award? You just may after seeing their takes on films like The Hurt Locker!

3, 2, 1…ACTION! The Jersey Shore crew is officially (kind of) breaking into the acting world!

Starting March 1 on Lopez Tonight, Snooki, The Situation, Pauly D. and the gang are going to re-create scenes and characters from some of the top Oscar-nominated movies of the year. Watch for their takes on The Hurt Locker, Up in the Air, Precious, Inglourious Basterds and The Blind Side.

Cue the fist pump and get out the popcorn!
